Student 1 and I reviewed a couple of math worksheets, both on finding the area of rectangular prisms, and then she worked on a couple of science worksheets, one on magnetism and one on electricity and Ohm's Law. Student 2 completed the magnetism worksheet as well. Student 2 also had her own math worksheets to complete, and we discussed them upon her completion. We also went over finding the area and perimeter of rectangles, triangles, and trapezoids.

The student and I reviewed the concepts we covered on our last session to prepare for her quiz. She is definitely working with the concepts with much more confidence and agility. We did several problems of different sections that she will be tested on. We covered quadratic functions and parabolas: understanding how to graph, finding vertex and zeros. Additionally, we worked on completing the square and imaginary roots. We also did some problems of the section after her quiz that focused on the quadratic formula and understanding the meaning of the discriminant.
