About Me

I obtained my Master's of Science in Microelectronics Photonics from the University of Arkansas and my Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University. During my Master's studies, I worked as a chemistry teaching assistant and discovered my passion for STEM education. I continued to work with students after my teaching requirement ended by becoming a chemistry tutor and research mentor. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering, where I balance my desire to modernize water treatment systems with my love of inspiring students to pursue careers in STEM. My tutoring style emphasizes the learning process as much as the technical content to form a foundation for lifelong learning and problem solving. Together, we will logically break down complex problems into smaller, more manageable pieces. I specialize in introductory university-level Chemistry and Math courses, including AP Chemistry and Calculus. When I'm not tutoring, you will find me cooking a new recipe, hiking in the Ozark Mountains, or cheering loudly for my favorite basketball teams.
