I made it through the actuarial exams, and you can to! You cannot study for the actuarial exams like any other math test - they require special preparation for the unique types of questions asked. I have been on all sides of the actuarial exam process - I passed the exams myself, I have written questions for exams, helped the SOA make curriculum decisions, and graded exams. I'd love to help you pass your next actuarial exam! My work as a healthcare consulting actuary has also led me to attain the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential, a subject which I have a real passion for. Medical coding is the backbone of our country's healthcare systems financing, and the cost of healthcare has never been more important. That means we need good coders like never before - passing the CPC is an important step for you filling that role!
