We covered the student's paper expectations and student's concerns with regards to writing assignments. Constructive feedback was provided both in verbal and written fashion. The student had a strong understanding of the topic at hand. Some of the student's concerns consisted of organization with regards to policy analysis, transitioning between and within paragraphs, and the best way to handle minor topics. While editing the student's work, strategy moving forward with formatting of the paper was provided. The student's first draft and edit was provided and returned. The student will be working diligently moving forward this week so that we can review a final draft prior to submitting the assignment. I will be available to continue with reviewing the student's work and making suggestions with regards to the paper. I do believe that the student is on the right track to an excellent paper and grade in the course.
