I have extensive experience with all types of students - struggling, special education, on-level, and advanced, to name a few. I love to talk about books! I love helping students gain confidence in things that previously hated or didn't think they were good at, such as writing or analyzing literature. Through various trainings and professional developments, I have learned numerous strategies and techniques to help students. I feel one of my strengths is my ability to connect to students and showing them how to connect to texts. I love everything about the beach! I also enjoy reading and talking about books, shopping, and swimming. I have 2 adult children. My daughter is a sign language interpreter and my son is a Master Sergeant in the Air Force stationed in Germany.
