Hi, I'm Dr. Katie! I am an elementary school teacher and university professor of education. I have my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and a specialty in reading, writing, and social studies education. I have a Grades 1-8 Teaching License In Ohio. I LOVE tutoring online! It amazes me how quickly I can get to know a student and help them grow in their content areas. I believe learning should be fun and personal. All students can learn when they are given the right environment.

My favorite thing to do is to watch my own kids play soccer and act in musicals! I also like children's books, playing with my cats, and taking walks with my kids. I love to sing!
