As a teacher, I am passionate about supporting students' critical thinking and communication skills. I strive to help students discover and refine their unique, writerly voices, and communicate their ideas more clearly and effectively. In working with students, I try to meet them where they are at in their learning journey and encourage their growth by offering new ideas and ways of thinking about topics. My primary strength is in formal, academic writing: I was published twice as an undergraduate, and I continue to work toward publications in my graduate career. However, I'm able to adjust to whatever writing style fits the needs of the project at hand.
