About Me

My interest in tutoring began long before medical school. During my undergraduate years at the University of MichiganDearborn, where I majored in Biochemistry, I discovered how much I enjoyed teaching and supporting other students. I worked as a tutor and supplemental instructor for Anatomy and Physiology as well as Organic Chemistry, and I found real fulfillment in helping students break down difficult concepts and gain confidence in material that once felt overwhelming. I am currently a 4th-year medical student at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where my academic journey has further shaped my passion for mentorship and education. Throughout medical school, I prepared for and completed COMLEX Level 1 and 2 as well as USMLE Step 1 and Step 2. I am currently applying for radiology residency, a highly competitive specialty that demands strong clinical performance and a solid Step 2 score. Preparing for these exams required discipline, adaptability, and developing efficient study strategieslessons that I now want to share with others. As I complete my application process, I am excited about the opportunity to tutor students preparing for COMLEX and USMLE exams, as well as those seeking subject-specific support. I understand how stressful and isolating this process can feel, and my goal is to make it more manageable and less intimidating. I enjoy helping students find study methods that work for them, clarify challenging topics, and approach exams with confidence. I am drawn to tutoring because it allows me to give back in a meaningful wayby supporting students not only academically, but also through encouragement and practical guidance. I hope to help students feel supported, capable, and motivated, just as I once did when others took the time to guide me.
