About Me

I'm a former newspaper and magazine journalist who pivoted to working as a social media consultant for small businesses and non-profits 14 years ago. Teaching others to improve and enhance their written work has been a throughline across my career! My goal is to support you with practical strategies that will help you write papers and essays that shine - and maybe even know yourself a little bit better than before. During my tenure at Connecticut College, and since completing my Bachelor's degree in English there, I have tutored students in Adult Literacy, College English, Creative Writing, and High School English. I am excited to help you learn more about the pleasure of crafting written work that supports you in your goals, whether it's getting into college, describing a moment you want to keep forever or making a great first impression.
