About Me

As a dedicated educator with a Master's degree in Education from Capella University, I have over 15 years of experience in tutoring and classroom teaching, specializing in Elementary and Middle School Math. I am an Exemplary Teacher by my state and Teacher of the Year. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and understand mathematical concepts at their own pace. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve academic success through personalized instruction and engaging activities. Currently, I am teaching, which allows me to stay updated on best practices and curricular developments. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my beautiful granddaughters, trying new cuisine, traveling and exploring new educational methodologies, which further enrich my tutoring approach.
