About Me

Education has always been more than a profession for meit's a way to empower people to make sense of the world around them. Over the years, I've taught economics, personal finance, and statistics to students ranging from high schoolers to university seniors, and each experience has reinforced my belief that learning becomes meaningful only when students can see its relevance to their own lives. I hold a Ph.D. in Consumer Science (Family and Consumer Economics) and an M.A. in Economics (Policy Track). I currently teach Economics and Personal Finance, where I also mentor teachers and help design curriculum. My teaching journey has taken me through universities and international schools, where I've guided students with diverse learning needs and academic goals. Among the subjects I tutoreconomics, statistics, business, and personal financeeconomics remains my favorite. It combines logic, policy, and everyday decision-making, offering students a way to think critically about real-world choices. My tutoring style is conversational and adaptive; I break down complex ideas into intuitive examples and guide students to discover insights for themselves rather than memorize definitions. Outside of teaching, I'm a lifelong learner who enjoys following global economic trends, exploring sustainable finance, and mentoring young learners on career and academic planning. I bring curiosity, empathy, and patience to every session because I believe every student's potential unfolds at their own paceand my job is to help unlock it.
