About Me

As a passionate educator with a Doctorate in Spanish and Portuguese from Princeton University and a dissertation on modern Spain, I have nearly a decade's worth of experience in tutoring and classroom instruction, specializing in AP Spanish Language and Literature; Culture, Conversational Spanish, and various levels of Spanish language and literature courses. My teaching philosophy centers around fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to engage with the material and express themselves. I strive to connect with each student by tailoring my approach to their unique learning styles and interests, making language acquisition both enjoyable and effective. Both in and outside of the tutoring space, I am highly accesible and dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a lifelong appreciation for the Spanish language and culture. In my free time, I enjoy exploring literature and travel, which continually enrich my teaching practice.
