My passion for the Spanish language began while living in Peru, where I immersed myself in the culture and quickly realized how powerful language can be in building connections. That experience inspired me to continue my studies formally in college, where I deepened my understanding of Spanish and broadened my knowledge of the many cultures it represents. Learning Spanish is not just about grammar or vocabularyit is about gaining a tool that fosters communication, empathy, and connection across cultures. I love seeing students grow in confidence as they realize they can use Spanish to explore the world, engage with diverse communities, and create their own meaningful experiences. I am excited to share this journey with students, helping them develop not only language proficiency but also the skills to connect with others in ways that enrich their lives.

Beyond my love for traveling and exploring new cultures, I spend much of my free time outdoors. Having lived in Utah my whole life, I take full advantage of everything it has to offer, from skiing in the mountains to golfing on beautiful courses and simply enjoying time outside in nature. I also deeply value spending time with my family and my dog. These hobbies keep me balanced, active, and connected to the things that matter most in life.
