About Me

I'm a licensed teacher in Massachusetts with fourteen years of experience teaching English and history/geography. I've taught students from sixth through twelfth grades at all levels of ability. I'll meet you in a place where you feel comfortable, like online, your home, or a library, and help you develop the skills to succeed and thrive in your classes that require reading and writing. My general approach is to learn who you are, what your strengths and challenges are, what you want to achieve, and then make a plan for you to get there. My background: I majored in English at Brown University, got my MBA at Babson College, and then switched into teaching and got my Masters in Teaching English at Simmons College. I've taught in both the Boston area and in Dubai, where I lived from 2014-2025. Stop worrying about your next assignment, and look forward to being confident and prepared.
