About Me

Hello! My name is Meredith. I am starting my 18th year of teaching. I have 15 years of experience teaching in the Texas elementary public school setting. This is my third year teaching in a remote setting. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University! I am currently certified in Texas and Illinois to teach students receiving special education services. I am also a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. I am excited to get to know you and work with you! My teaching specialties include working with students with specific learning disabilities and providing dyslexia instruction. My enthusiasm for education lies in working with struggling learners; I love to watch as students grow and develop their skills and increase their self-confidence. I believe every individual can achieve a little more learn a little more, and create a little more, and I compassionately push and encourage every student to do so. I am also a coach's wife and mom of three kids, ages 8, 13, and 18. I look forward to meeting you and the growth that we can accomplish together!
