With over 30 years of experience as a sign language interpreter in both K-12 and college settings, I have been teaching American Sign Language at the college level for more than 5 years. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages students to engage actively with the material, promoting both comprehension and confidence. I am passionate about helping students succeed in their language acquisition journey and take pride in creating meaningful connections that enhance their learning experiences.

My interests/hobbies are making crafts and learning to play the banjo, mandolin and upright bass.
