About Me

As a dedicated educator with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from South Dakota State University, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience and more than 5 years of classroom teaching in high school mathematics. My passion lies in subjects like Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry, where I strive to demystify complex concepts and foster critical thinking skills in my students. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their understanding. My approach involves connecting mathematical principles to real-life applications, making the learning process less intimidating and more engaging. Outside of teaching, I enjoy board games and sports, which further enrich my ability to relate to students and build rapport. I am committed to helping every student succeed and develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.
