About Me

Hello there! My name is Sol. I am a certified Engineer-in-Training by the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. As a Varsity tutor, my goal is to prepare students for the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) Exam by providing resources, quick tips, and reinforcement of engineering principles through lessons and/or practice problems. I will discuss with students their subjects of weakness and help them build confidence leading up to their exam date. For any college students or adults well into their career looking to develop their professional careers as an engineer, I am here to assist! Outside of tutoring, I work full time on contract as a Transmission Line Engineer for a gas and electric distributor.
