About Me

I am a graduate of New York University, where I studied Public Health and Biology. My passion for education was sparked by my experience as a student teacher through NYU's America Reads and Counts program, where I saw firsthand the impact that individual attention and encouragement can have on a student's growth. Over the past eight years, I've worked with students of all ages and learning styles, both in person and online. While I tutor a variety of subjects, math is my specialtyfrom Algebra 1 & 2 to Trigonometry and Geometry. I also support students in English and Living Environment/Biology. I'm a firm believer that there's no one-size-fits-all approach to learning. I'm patient, encouraging, and always willing to explore problems from multiple perspectives because every student thinks differently. My goal is to build confidence, not just comprehension, by creating a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My tutoring style is patient, adaptive, and centered around making sure students truly understand the "why" behind what they're learning. I believe in creating a safe, encouraging space where questions are always welcome.
