As an educator in IB English Language and Literature, English Literature, A-Level English, and Linguistics, I help students find their voice, sharpen their thinking, and read texts and the world with confidence. Rooted in Vygotsky's ZPD, Dewey's experiential learning, and Freire's belief in education as empowerment, my teaching encourages inquiry, close reading, discussion, and links between language, literature, culture, identity, and global issues. Whether preparing students for IB Paper 1, Paper 2, the Individual Oral, TOK, Extended Essay, or A-Level responses, I use modelling, scaffolding, feedback, and critical questioning to build strong arguments, precise analysis, and confident expression.
