About Me

Teaching Certifications: Mathematics 8 - 12 grade Education: BS-Mathematics, University of Texas at Austin BS - Computer Engineering, Texas A&M University - College Station As a teacher with 15 years of experience, I am excited to share my knowledge and love of mathematics on the Varsity Tutors platform! I have a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Texas A&M University, and I have spent 13 years as a classroom teacher, mostly teaching mathematics and computer science at an International Baccalaureate school. I have long strived to help foster a love of learning within the students I have taught, and several have now graduated from the top ranked universities in the United States. I am currently a year away from completing a second bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. I am excited to continue helping students realize that all types of math can be fun, and that enjoyment will follow every ounce of success that they experience.
