Jared Cavazos is a Computer Engineering graduate of Texas A&M University who went on to earn a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. He brings over a decade of experience as a certified math and computer science teacher, most recently serving as Math Department Chair at W.B. Ray High School (IB) in Corpus Christi, where he led a team of 18 teachers and helped raise standardized test scores by 20% across IB Computer Science, IB Mathematics, and AP Calculus. He has since expanded into coding instruction, teaching Python and Java to students in grades 612, and remote mathematics tutoring covering Algebra through Calculus. Jared is currently completing a Postgraduate Program in AI and Machine Learning at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business, building on his technical foundation with coursework in MySQL, Git, and machine learning, and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Tau Sigma national honor societies.
