About Me

Nothing will change your life like the ability to learn new things. I knew at six years old that I wanted to teach, and now I've been teaching a little bit of everything for 32 years. I've taught English from grade 8 to college, as well as a variety of science classes and electives at the high school level. I've taught students to dissect frogs, rhetoric, and complex literary texts. I've taught them to build simple websites, budgets, and compelling arguments. We've done maps and meditation. I have a master's degree in English and hold teaching certifications in both English and science. I've taught groups and tutored individually from remedial levels to AP and college courses, and I've mentored a significant number of new teachers. Struggling with ADHD?
