I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona. Currently, I am pursuing my medical degree, which has deepened my understanding of complex scientific concepts and furthered my passion for mentoring others in these areas. I am passionate about helping students because I believe education is a transformative tool that empowers individuals to achieve their goals and realize their potential. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages, from teaching science concepts to high schoolers to leading laboratory experiments and workshops for college students, which has honed my ability to adapt my teaching style to meet diverse learning needs. I enjoy showing students how biology connects to the world around them and encouraging them to approach science with curiosity and confidence. My teaching philosophy focuses on fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. I emphasize breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and tailoring my approach to each student's unique learning style.

Outside of academics, I am a certified yoga instructor with a passion for promoting mindfulness and overall wellness. Teaching yoga has given me a deep appreciation for the connection between mind and body and the importance of fostering balance in all areas of life. I enjoy incorporating these principles into my daily routine and sharing them with others. These interests have taught me the importance of patience, balance, and resilience—qualities I aim to incorporate into my tutoring sessions to inspire and support my students on their academic journeys.
