About Me

I am a graduate of The University of California, Davis. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History & Cultural Studies with a focus on education. Since graduation, I have tutored children of immigrants in Nevada. I have tutored private clients in California in elementary math up to prealgebra. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and History. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun for the Critical Reading Portion of the exams. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming, running, and playing board games.
