My passion for tutoring began while earning my bachelor's degree in Biology at Ball State University, where I worked as a peer tutor in the university's Learning Center. This spring, I am graduating with a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Infectious Disease and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Following this, I will be pursuing a PhD in Public Health at the University of Nevada, Reno. On Varsity Tutors, I focus on science subjects, especially AP Biology. I like to break down complex concepts into manageable pieces and help students see how everything connects, rather than just memorizing information. My goal is to make the material feel less overwhelming and more approachable, so students feel confident tackling both their coursework and exams. I really enjoy seeing students go from feeling stuck to working out problems on their own.
