About Me

My passion for tutoring blossomed during my time getting my bachelor's in Biology at Ball State University. During this time, I worked as a peer tutor at the universities Learning Center. Through working with students in subjects like biology, chemistry, and math, I realized how fulfilling it is to help others succeed and make complex concepts accessible. I'm particularly passionate about identifying each student's unique learning style and adapting my approach to meet their needs. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing that "Aha!" moment when a student grasps a concept they've been struggling with. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Infectious Disease and Microbiology at the University of Pittsburgh, where I also work as a research assistant in an HIV/AIDS research clinic. This advanced training has further honed my problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex topics clearly. skills I bring to every tutoring session. I look forward to helping students not only understand their coursework but also build the confidence to succeed.
