About Me

Hello!! My name is Mahogany Arnold, I am a tutor with Varsity Tutors and I have been assigned to tutor your wonderful student! I currently reside in Chicago, Illinois and I have been a teacher and tutor for several years and have experience teaching students both online and in school. I taught first grade for a few years in Houston, Texas and I now tutor/teach fully online. I have a Bachelors degree in English Teaching, a Master's of Art degree in Teaching for elementary education, and I am currently working on my 2nd Master's degree in Psychology/Child and Adolescent Psychology. I am so looking forward to working with your student to help them succeed in all of their academic achievements! We can easily work out a schedule that works best for your family. Each tutoring session will be for at least 1 hour. I am the most experienced teaching Kindergarten through 6th grade. I can teach and tutor all elementary education subjects such as reading, writing, social studies, math, and science. We can also complete assignments and homework together when needed. I'm sure we can come up with a system and education plan that works best for your family.
