About Me

As a retired teacher with over 22 years of experience in a public Montessori school, I have dedicated my career to fostering a love for learning in students from 1st through 6th grade. I hold a Master's in Science in Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong State College. My passion lies in tutoring elementary school subjects, including English, Math, Reading, Science, and Phonics. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student, using a hands-on, student-centered approach that encourages exploration and critical thinking. I am motivated by the joy of seeing my students achieve their academic goals and develop confidence in their abilities. In my free time, I enjoy reading and exploring new educational methodologies to continually enhance my tutoring practice.
