I pursued a Master's Degree in Accounting at GA State University in 2016 even though I had a great job and had been working for over fifteen years. And while in graduate school, I made friends with several new students taking higher level courses with me in order to meet the requirements to take the CPA exam. And these friendships lead to growth and wisdom for many of us. While I taught them Accounting from a real world perspective, they taught me Technology. Tutoring and mentoring these students brought me great satisfaction because I truly believe that a solid educational foundation leads to confidence and success at work and in life. It then became my passion to tutor students in Accounting, not just to get good grades, or pass the CPA exam, but to use that knowledge to achieve their goals at work as well. My tutoring style is tailored to the individual with an emphasis on their objectives. I also work part time educating and supporting small businesses with their Accounting and Quickbooks questions.
