About Me

I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. After practicing as a registered nurse in the medical surgical/telemetry and oncology units for 5 years I became a stay at home parent to care for my son. Now I would like to share my knowledge with other nursing students to help them in their nursing career. I'm passionate about treating our geriatric population and working with oncology patients. I have precepted nursing students during my nursing career as well as trained new nurses on to the nursing field, so this is where my education experience comes from. Because I have practiced nursing, I would like to share my knowledge and help you understand subjects of science, biology, pharmacology, and anatomy. Hablo Espanol! Tutoring in Spanish is also one of the subjects I can aid students in. When done correctly, education can greatly impact a student's life.
