About Me

I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies with over 15 years of experience in the education field. I have held positions as a Learning Center Activities Instructor, Behavior Management Specialist, Exceptional Children's Teacher, Academic Interventionist, and Private Tutor/Mentor. I thoroughly enjoy working with students of all ages. As a tutor, it is important to recognize that students have individual, specific learning styles. Once those are identified, you can be successful in assisting them in achieving their personal goals. I enjoy helping students overcome challenges by building confidence to succeed. I have always had a strong passion for teaching and find it to be one of the most rewarding careers.
