I am a graduate of Wittenberg University and University of Cincinnati, where I received my Bachelors of Music Education and Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction respectively. Currently, I am finishing my third year of teaching in Cleveland, Ohio. Much of my classroom experience has been teaching music to students in grades Pre-K through 12. However, for about half of my career, I have worked with students in after-school programs and summer programs which help youth in under-resourced areas improve their skills in math, literacy, and social-emotional development. While I am most passionate about music, I enjoy other subjects as well and am interested in providing tutoring opportunities for students in math, ELA, and other subjects as well. Overall, my goal in life is to inspire the generations below me and foster an appreciation for learning as much as humanly possible.

I enjoy reading and writing. I recently started diving into creative writing with poetry, short stories, and one-act plays. I also enjoy all things that encourage creativity -- singing, dancing, acting, playing instruments, Cricut crafts, etc. I love nature and spending time in the sun when possible. I also love animals. I have two amazing cats at home that I could never get enough of.
