About Me

I was introduced to teaching while pursuing, and eventually completing, my Ph.D. in analytical chemistry. Teaching in a lecture setting was a largely impersonal process. I wanted to teach in a setting where the student was comfortable asking questions, which is not an easy task in a large classroom. Teaching for me has always been more rewarding when doing so in a one-on-one setting. In this scenario, I can easily tailor the lessons to the needs and pace of the student. Teaching with Varsity will allow me to teach the way I like to.
