About Me

My teaching journey began with my teaching assistantship, where I served as a laboratory instructor and lecture assistant for Biology and Microbiology courses. I began after-school tutoring during the fall of 2020, where I gained comfort teaching and tutoring high school students. My teaching style focuses primarily on my students' individual successes, information retention by utilizing evidence-based and inclusive teaching practices. I am most passionate about the Biological Sciences and Humanities, with expertise in ELA and Spanish as well. I am currently a doctoral student studying microbiology at NCAT.
