About Me

I graduated with Honors from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Linguistics with a concentration in German Studies. Since graduation, I have been teaching Spanish at a high school in Atlanta. Though I am used to working with students aged 14-18, I truly believe that it is never to early and you're never too late to start learning. I am tutoring because I've seen many great students struggle in school because they've needed one on one time with the teacher but with the amount of students in the classroom, it is difficult to get the assistance desired. With proper small group tutoring, everyone can succeed. While I am I am able to tutor a variety of different subjects, I am Georgia State certified in Spanish and Math (Elementary- Calculus) and Spanish is definitely the subject I'm most passionate about. I work with students regardless of what level and even offer services for ESL students. Every student learns differently and my goal is to find what works for the students I teach, to help them acquire the information in a way that is easily accessible to them. Learning should be FUN and I intend to make it that way. When I am not teaching, I like to travel, try new foods, go out with friends, act, sing karaoke, and play with my puppy.
