I am currently an Associate Professor focusing on quantitative research. I hold a Ph.D. and M.A. in History from Kansas State University. Currently finishing a second Master's in Applied Statistics from Penn State University. Tenth year working as a professor. Teach statistics and quantitative research methods courses from the undergraduate to doctoral level. My passion is making challenging statistical topics accessible to students of all experience levels. Serve as chair or committee member for several Ed.D. students each year. Also teach courses in history focusing on poverty and economic inequality in America. My specialty is integrating the philosophical approach of the humanities with the rigor of mathematical science.
