About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with focus on literature and classics. I am also graduate of DePaul University with a Masters of Fine Arts with focus on screenwriting, where my thesis earned distinction. Since graduation, in 2020 no less, I have written several film and television pilots and have been apart of some pretty cool film projects in Montreal, New York, and Chicago. While I am able to tutor/work within many subjects, I am most passionate about literature (American, British, Russian, and the Classics) and writing and editing; if it be creative, academic, admission essays or just a run of the mill english paper. I'm passionate about these subjects because I believe that the power to make a difference starts with the written word; in understanding it and being able to pragmatically put it into use. No meaningful change can happen without the ability to properly articulate one's thoughts and feelings by way of the written word. And I try to instill that passion for the written word into each one of my students.
