I am certified to teach English/Language Arts in grades 6-12, as well as English as a Second Language in grades K-12. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky and a Master's in Teaching from the University of Louisville. I currently teach 10th grade ELA, reading intervention, and ESL. I teach students with IEPs, PSPs, and myriad other educational needs. I believe that all students are capable of achieving academic success. I believe students can show their learning in many ways. Helping students become better readers and writers is my passion!

My hobbies include reading, crocheting, kayaking, and writing. I also enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs.
