My academic focus is in Languages, particularly in German and Japanese. This was my major for my Bachelor's degree at Murray State University. I also have certification in TESOL and over 7 years of experience tutoring children and adults English as a Second Language. With that in mind, I have a deep understanding of grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure and cultural context. I am passionate about teaching and would love to impart that same passion to you. Additionally, I also have experience tutoring in essay writing, algebra, and speech practice. I have experience tutoring various ages, from as young as 6 to adults in their 50s. I can adapt to your learning style as necessary in order for you to get the best out of each and every lesson. My teaching style is rather relaxed. I want the student to become comfortable with me and to go at their own pace. I am patient and willing to spend a lot of time on what you find most difficult in your educational journey.
