About Me

I'm a self-motivated tutor who enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life. My academic focus is in Languages, particularly in German and Japanese. This was my major for my Bachelor's degree at Murray State University. I also have certification in TESOL and over 7 years of experience tutoring children and adults English as a Second Language. With that in mind, I have a deep understanding of grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure and cultural context. I am passionate about teaching and would love to impart that same passion to you. Additionally, I also have experience tutoring in essay writing, algebra, and speech practice. I have experience tutoring various ages, from as young as 6 to adults in their 50s. I can adapt to your learning style as necessary in order for you to get the best out of each and every lesson. My teaching style is rather relaxed. I want the student to become comfortable with me and to go at their own pace. I am patient and willing to spend a lot of time on what you find most difficult in your educational journey.
