About Me

I am a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University where I received my Bachelors in Elementary and Special Education. I am a graduate of the University of St. Joseph where I received my Masters in Special Education. After graduation, I taught for 6 years, 2 years in the upper Elementary and High School setting and 4 years in the lower Elementary setting as a Special Education teacher. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about tutoring reading. I believe reading is the core foundation to succeeding in education. I believe education needs to be student centered and diversified to meet students individual needs. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring nature with my family, reading, crafting and doing Yoga. Hobbies: art, books, hiking, yoga, nature, outdoors, reading, music, writing
