About Me

Hello! My name is Aaron -- UC Berkeley alumni currently working as a documentation specialist at an engineering firm. Throughout my education, I've realized that the classes I enjoyed the most weren't necessarily because of the subject matter, rather it was the professors and teachers who taught these classes. They made difficult concepts engaging and manageable for me. I hope that as a tutor I can channel that same energy and facilitate a learning experience that is engaging and manageable for you. I have a 6 years of experience tutoring and teaching in both a formal and informal setting. Throughout my undergraduate, I've taught and tutored a variety of subjects to high school all the way to grad school level students. Specifically, I have facilitated review sessions for college level chemistry and biology courses and held weekly seminars to help students edit and write about a variety of topics from biology to philosophy. My background is in biology and philosophy, so I am rather flexible in what I can teach. If you can put in the work, I can certainly help you improve and even achieve A-level work.
