About Me

I am an experienced English teacher with a TEFL certificate and over 10 years of teaching ESL/ELL/ESOL. I hold a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in ESOL. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with K-12 and adult learners, helping them improve their English skills and build confidence in themselves. My passion for teaching is rooted in creating positive, engaging learning environments where students thrive. Having taught English online for over seven years, I particularly enjoy connecting with children (ages 4-18) and helping adult learners express themselves more clearly in English. I believe that teaching should be both effective and enjoyable. By understanding my students' interests, I can personalize their learning experience to meet their individual needs and goals. An engaging, stress-free classroom fosters natural language acquisition and encourages students to reach their full potential. With a background in Anthropology, focusing on cultures and languages, I find joy in working with diverse students from around the world. It's incredibly rewarding to learn from them while guiding them in their English language journey. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, visiting museums, and exploring the outdoors.
