About Me

I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University where I received my Master of Education degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certification. I did my undergraduate studies at Excelsior College where I earned a BA in Humanities with a focus on Cultural Studies. I also have an AA in Persian Farsi from the Defense Language Institute. Throughout my life I have traveled extensively and have gained an appreciation for all things. I have most recently taught middle school students in science and math and adults in San Angelo, TX looking to improve their English, and new military personnel training in their future job field. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about the Persian-Farsi Language, English, History, and Science. I enjoy helping students develop test taking strategies for Standardized Tests, grasping challenging subject matter, and reaching their full potential. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time I enjoy foreign language study, volunteering, exercising, and home renovation.
