About Me

My full-time job involves helping students who are below grade level get back on track. I provide support for K-9th grade students in multiple content areas. I have worked with students in various capacities for the past 15 years. I love the one to one connection I get from working with students. Many of my students just need a little more time to understand a concept. I work with some really smart students, and I enjoy observing them and seeing the expressions when they finally understand the concept. I am consistently learning new strategies to deliver effective teaching to my students. I am certified in GA and SC to teach elementary math. I am an outstanding science teacher because I strive to show and help my students how to navigate and solve problems. I love to write. I understand punctuation and writing, and I have a clear understanding of how to deliver literacy strategies to support my students. I have written several blogs and journal entries in my teaching profession as well. During this transition of virtual learning, I have experience with homeschool my own children. I have created lesson plans. I have a wealth of knowledge to give to my students.
