I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Education and Computer Science. I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have a teaching certification in pre-K to 3rd grade. I have taught in the public school for 10 years. I believe in the idea that all students learn differently. As a teacher I try to address the differences in my instruction by using multiple ways of presenting the information. I firmly believe that when students are challenged with realistic goals and they are given the support they need, they will be able to solve problems in the future independently. It is my goal as a teacher to make my students feel comfortable, motivated and successful in learning.

I really love cooking. I find cooking to be very therapeutic for me. My husband, of course, is very supportive of this hobby and enjoys being the guinea pig for my experimental recipes. I love reading cook books, watching cooking videos and cooking shows. I have collected all my mother's recipes and one day I will have hem published in a book.
