During my time at UMBC, I tutored a wide variety of students studying across many disciplines, always striving to meet them where they were as I helped them to understand not just what to do, but why they were doing it. I try to bring this approach to the broader framework of life, as well; while I'm well aware that many people simply don't enjoy math, I do my best to get them to understand why they should know some of it anyway.

Tabletop roleplaying across a variety of game systems- I like seeing how different games result in different stories, even when you play with the same people! (Also, I'm a massive nerd.) I also like hiking and playing the piano.
