Every student can develop a growth mindset and that will be the foundation for their future success. My husband and I have 5 children ages 16-27. Each of them have had their unique struggles with learning. Over the years, my experience with helping them overcome learning differences, ADHD, high-functioning autism, sensory disorders, etc. has helped me be a more skilled teacher and tutor. I understand the struggles of the student who has to spend inordinate amounts of time studying when others whip through their assignments with ease. Every student has a different learning style. Some need visual and auditory experiences to learn. Others need to move and do. I'm proficient in cool online tools that allow me to get the student involved with math manipulatives and interactive annotations.
