About Me

I earned my bachelor's degree in accounting from Northeastern Illinois University. My MBA with a concentration in accounting and healthcare administration was earned only through Benedictine University. I really love the online experience, so I attended Nova Southeastern University online and earned my master's degree in taxation. Currently I am taking two courses in data analytics from St. Leo University online starting in January 2020. Then I am going to start working on my DBA in accounting starting in May. In addition, I am studying for the CPA exam and the United States Tax Court Exam. I have taught and tutored financial, managerial, cost, intermediate accounting both online and in the classroom. I do not have a favorite course to tutor as they are all different and present unique challenges to students. IN other words, I love them all!!!! My teaching philosophy/ tutoring style is to present the material in a way that students can understand and work them through the problems asking questions of the students along the way. Outside of academia I like to play classical piano, sing opera, hang out with my dog, go to the beach, and just chill. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I am always tackling new subjects and working on new degrees. My mission in life is to help others fulfill their educational goals by sharing my knowledge. Let's be successful together!!!!!!
