About Me

Hello Super-stars! I am a previous Middle school math and science teacher with more current experience tutoring elementary, middle school math fundamentals and high school math. Additionally, I specifically have helped students working in Algebra 2 and Geometry in High school, and also helped with SAT Prep and ACT prep, along with other high school maths. Working with different public school systems in a tutoring company setting is something that has been very enjoyable to me and very rewarding! I've been thankful to work alongside students from all over the US, a student or two from Canada, and also worked very briefly tutoring students in Goa, India (that spoke English). Working with elementary age students is rewarding and middle school math is probably my favorite! I have tutored at the university I graduated with and graduated from UNC Pembroke in 2008 with a B.S. in Mathematics. Since then I have homeschooled my two daughters who are about to embark on 10th grade Algebra 2 and 4th grade math! Woo-hoo . My husband means the world to me, I have an identical twin sister that also teaches. Very happy to be working in a subject that is challenging every day, and that I get to experience growth with all the students I see.
