About Me

I enjoy working with different types of students and helping them achieve their goals. I recently received my teaching certificate in Elementary Education at Benedictine University. I did my clinicals with 1st and 3rd graders in Reading and Math, and my student teaching in 2nd grade. I have also volunteered in a first grade classroom helping with Writing. While I have worked with 1st through 3rd graders, I like working with all elementary students. My favorite subject is Math but I also love Reading. Helping students in Math and Reading are my strong areas. I like to have fun with learning and help students relate the subject matter to real life situations for better retention. At home I love spending time with my 3 boys. A few things we like to do are go for bike rides, read books and go to the park. I also love running and reading a good book.
