I am passionate about teaching Japanese, and would love to help you meet your language goals! I help students by listening to their aims, setting their goals, motivating students depending on their levels and introducing current and interesting topics in addition to their textbooks. I often assist students outside of lessons by e-mail, and love to teach via Skype to help busy people learn Japanese.

I am very versatile and have a background of teaching students from various backgrounds and on many different subjects. I have taught English abroad to five year old students, and have also worked with college students as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Hawaii while in graduate school. I am passionate about helping people grow and learn and looking forward to working with you!

I am good at convincing my students that they will see more rewards from their persistence. I have worked with several students who were scoring in the seventies on tests and quizzes when I started working with them who then began to see dramatic results with scores in the nineties in a fairly short time.
